The BMC Lakes Area Meeting will be held at the Eagle & Child Inn, Staveley on Wednesday 20 November 2019, starting at 7.30pm (food from 7.00pm).
Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally, and to meet like-minded people and enjoy a sociable night out.
Area AGM elections
The November meeting is also the Area AGM and will include elections for various volunteer roles.
Guest speaker is Stephen Trotter, CEO of Cumbria Wildlife Trust.
Stephen will put forward a case for the re-introduction of beavers in Cumbria.
