This meet provides an opportunity for prospective club members to see how a meet works and to get to know the club, and will be based in the Nant Gwynant valley over the weekend of 18-20 May 2018.
The Pinnacle Club is a UK-based club of women climbers who are united by a shared enthusiasm for climbing. The club runs two open meets during the year. Prospective members are welcome on all meets, but this is a good place to start. The main criteria is that you must be able to safely lead climbs at whatever level you climb at, so this is not a club for beginners. It's a friendly meet where members mix with guests and share climbing.
The meet will be based at the Emily Kelly Hut, the Pinnacle Club’s hut below Snowdon (Grid Ref. SH 653541).
This is the first of two introductory open meets of the year; the second 2018 Open Meet will be held over the weekend of 14-16 September in the Peak District.
