The BMC Lakes Area Meeting will take place virtually via Zoom on Wednesday 5 May 2021, starting at 7.30 pm.
Come to our next (virtual) gathering of Lakes climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
Area Meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally. All are welcome.
Guest speaker: Jase Wilson
In his talk ‘Tourism in the Death Zone’, Jase, a Leeds-based Canadian writer, photographer and academic will share his stories of exploration and efforts to reveal the seemingly mystical ‘world’ of high-altitude tourism in the Himalaya and Karakoram as part of his PhD research into the same topic.
