The BMC North East Area Meeting & AGM will be held on Thursday 17 November 2022, starting at 7.00pm (doors open 6.30), and will be run as a hybrid meeting, online via Zoom and in-person at the Brinkburn St Brewery in Newcastle.
Note: this meeting was originally advertised as taking place on Thursday 3 November, but has been rescheduled.
Come to our next gathering of North East climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
Area Meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally. All are welcome.
Following the meeting, we'll have a presentation by Simon Litchfield:
Bratwurst, Beer and Bears
Simon will be talking about the unique attitudes that you may not expect when climbing and on expedition with Germans!
AREA AGM
The November meeting is also the 2022 Area AGM, and will include elections for various Area volunteer roles – there is a vacancy for an Access Rep covering Northumberland and Newcastle.
