The BMC Peak Area Meeting will take place at The Maynard in Grindleford on Wednesday 21 November, starting at 7.30pm (food from 6.30pm).
Come to our next gathering of Peak District climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally.
BMC Strategic Planning process 2018-2020
The meeting will include discussion of a framework for developing the BMC’s strategic planning process whilst evaluating and implementing the remaining recommendations made by the Organisational Review Group – see attached information paper.
Organisational Development Group Update
The Organisational Development Group (ODG) has published an update, to enable members attending the meeting to discuss the group’s work and provide feedback for Area Reps to take to the December National Council meeting.

Area AGM elections
The November meeting is also the Area AGM and will include elections for various volunteer roles.
It just wouldn’t be the end of year meeting without the annual quiz. Rumour has it that this year’s quiz will include a general knowledge round, so brush up on your soap operas!
All are welcome; food will be provided by the BMC, available from 6.30pm.
